Welcome to the CADC network performance project.

The goal of this project is to improve transfer speeds from the Canadian Astronomy Data Center to its users, and provide general user education about the things that can be done to achieve optimum network performance.

This website offers information on tuning Operating Systems and applications for maximum network performance, and covers the common types of problems that may occur within your network to hinder its speed. It also provides an application for measuring network performance between you and the CADC.
